Preserving Fort Jefferson

New England Scaffolding has been a part of preserving Fort Jefferson at Dry Tortugas National Park, located west of Key West, Florida. The project began in 2007 and is on going with its completion anticipated in 2011.

Fort Jefferson is pcitured below prior to work commencing to preserve historical elements of the fort in order to stabalize it.

New England Scaffolding installed the scaffolding at Fort Jefferson in order too provide access for the masons to perform their work. As shown below

White debris netting was installed by New England Scaffolding to shield the the masons from the sun and serve as a protecting barrier to prevent dust and debris escaping while work is being performed.
